10 Year Anniversary Contest Terms & Conditions

By entering the contest, the entrant gives permission to Roll20 to use, and to authorize others to use, their testimonial and their name in connection with that testimonial (collectively, the "Testimonial"), forever throughout the world. Roll20 may use, copy, exhibit, publish, and distribute the Testimonial, in whole or in part, in print (including packaging), television, radio, film, digital media (including internet, social media, websites, and apps), and in all other media now known or hereafter existing for advertising, marketing, publicity, and promotion of Roll20 and its products and all other commercial business purposes. Roll20 may modify the Testimonial so long as the original content is not significantly altered or misrepresented. Roll20 (a) will be under no obligation to actually use the Testimonial and (b) has the right to use the Testimonial either with or without the entrant's name. By entering the contest, entrant waives the right to inspect or approve any use by Roll20 of the Testimonial and certifies that: (a) the Testimonial is true and accurate and reflects entrant’s personal experiences and honest beliefs; and (b) entrant made the Testimonial of their own free will. By entering the contest, entrant agrees (a) that entrant shall hold harmless and release Roll20, its officers, directors, agents, and employees from all claims, demands, and liabilities of any kind arising out of or in connection with Roll20's use of the Testimonial, including without limitation, claims based upon invasion of privacy, defamation, or right of publicity; and (b) not to make any claim against Roll20 for its use of the Testimonial.

Contest Rules

  1. Eligibility. Contestants must be 18 or older to enter. Roll20 employees are not eligible to enter.
  2. Timing. The promotion begins on March 28, 2022 and ends on May 31, 2022. Winners will be selected and notified on or around June 15, 2022.
  3. Prize description. Ten contestants will win ten years of Roll20 Pro subscription credit (value of $999.90) and ten items of their choice from the Roll20 Marketplace (value up to $600).
  4. Entry instructions. To enter the contest, submit a testimonial sharing how Roll20 has played a role in your tabletop games via the submission form on the contest page. Contestants are encouraged to submit images & video, but they are not required. Submissions must be the original work of the contestant; must not infringe upon a third party's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property; and must not violate a third party's right of privacy. Submissions must adhere to the Roll20 code of conduct.
  5. Judging criteria. Entries will be judged by the originality of the content, and the quality of the testimonial.
  6. Right to cancel or modify. Roll20 reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify a promotion if any problem prevents the promotion from running as planned.
  7. Release. Entrants agree to release and hold the company harmless from and against any claim associated with the promotion.
  8. Limitation of liability. The company is not responsible and cannot be held liable for technical errors or other circumstances that may prevent the promotion from running as planned.
  9. Right to substitute. Roll20 reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize is not available.
  10. Forum selection. The official rules are governed by the state of Nevada.
